When things in your lives seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 cups of coffee:
A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.
He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with an unanimous "Yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions - and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car.
The sand is everything else - the small stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your spouse out to dinner.
Play another 18.
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
Take care of the golf balls first - the things that really matter.
Set your priorities.
The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

lol it's been almost 2 mths since i last posted.
and this time it wasnt even because im lazy..
i couldn't cause i needed my finances to be directed towards study and family
and internet could be a distraction for me
so i figure prepaid might not be that bad :)
controls myself financially and i can fully use this as a media weapon :)
anyway... just like what God has told me at the start of 2010
this year will never be monotonous
this past 2 mths i went through one of the most challenging times
but also realised that i'm actually surrounded by so many many people who actually and genuinely cares and loves me just as i am
i had never knew people had really held me close to their hearts
after going through years of "God, I will love You and I know You love me too, even if everyone else doesn't"
it's now "God, thank You for showing me that I'm loved by so many people, I want to serve them as much as how my ministry had always been for You."
my cg, JUST, SOT students, and other good friends..
i love you guys...
i went through two camps!!
first the CBS camp
i think it was one of the most disorganised camps i had been through
i don't mean it's not enjoyable
but just messy here and there
that i began to get abit blur... hahah!
but it was good.. got to know some AWESOME people :)
it was almost like God planned this to get me prepared for the next camp....
CAMP ONE!!!!
omg this is like the camp i had been awaiting
because JUST was gonna make their debut!
and i tell you, the performance was great!
and it was really such a great experience
thank God and mel for the opportunity to be a team leader..
cause i really learnt alot
and the sessions.. just awesome..
like how ZY shared.. i dunno how many times i've almost decided to give up
to just, not go for cg and service
because people i love hurt me
because maybe not being a christian might be better after all...
but thank God i hung on to Him...
thank God i'm still here serving Him
and forever i'll still be serving You :)
tests, assignments, sermons to do!!
i'm so so so in trouble.... hahaha!

once again, its the end of another week!
SOT tmr! (no more morning PM lol)
i really hope tmr will be a good session in SOT
i feel i need more of His anointing..
anyway the weekend has been quite okay..
besides the cockup with the sound ministry IC =/
i've decided to honor my word since i couldn't get through to him
to serve on sunday this week since he scheduled me..
turn out to be good :) actually it's really good to serve.
and i love to serve God in little ways like this..
had 3:16 prac yesterday. it was dope :)
chun choreo-ed a v fun routine
with her sha ji screams once in a while hahahahaha
but i think it's good
i think i need to practice in private more..
cause my attitude and sharpness still not there leh..
God help me..!!!

cg was good! i felt the presence of God
but for some reason i couldn't draw in His spirit into my heart..
i think people need to learn that worship is not about the song, singing, guitar or even the aircon
if we have that, its a BONUS!
but without that? it really comes down to the heart
and really.. even if the guitar strings break.
then i was wondering how come EVERYONE was looking at the guitar with WIDE eyes =/
sigh.. when will people get that DNA...
anyway, its really good to see that she has moved on
and that our relationship is back to good frens :)

lol. this post will be about what God spoke to me throughout this week
about having a new heart. its a short message.
i felt the need to post it up as temptations started to flood my heart again.
hopefully someone reads it, and be blessed.
or i can use this to prepare to help those who is going through what i have gone through
have you ever felt so condemned that you always succumb to sin?
like no matter how much you prayed, read the bible, fasted, had demons casted out etc etc
but a while later, you slipped back into sin.
the bible says,
Matthew 26:41 (New King James Version)
41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Our fleshly, carnal nature is weak, such that if we allow our mind to follow it, there is no way we can flee from temptation.
but our spirit man is the one always crying out and resisting.
we got to make the choice to follow the spirit man.
Jesus died on the cross to save us from:
1) penalty of sin (which is death)
2) power of sin (temptation)
3) presence of sin (evil itself)
how are we saved from the power of sin which is our temptations?
by the crucifixion of our old sinful nature (old man) and putting on our spirit man (new man)
Colossians 3:9-10 (New King James Version)
9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, 10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
Ephesians 4:23-25 (New King James Version)
23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
we heard this ALOT ALOT of times before!
but what does it mean to put on the new man?
just like what the verse in Ephesians said - be renewed in the spirit of your mind!
which is our heart!

10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Ezekiel 18:31 (New King James Version)
31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?
and throughout the bible, God has been telling that He will give us new heart!
Ezekiel 11:19-20 (New King James Version)
19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh,
20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 (New King James Version)
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
then it struck me, a new heart, a new man, a new spirit.
being saved was also to mean to die on the cross.
and being resurrected in Christ.
a new life.. a new beginning..
i've detested my past sins so much, how could i allow myself to sin once again?
God gave me another chance to be pure.
why would i want to cause myself to go through all those crap again?
and furthermore, to sin blatantly and knowingly is not repentance!
in fact, doing so might even cause your salvation to be nullified!
i'm just vomiting stuff out.. cause temptations hit me once again.. i will stand strong for You!

lol. i love God. like totally totally
His grace and strength never seems to amaze me
slept at 3am. woke at 5.20am
now i know how mel feels
and i know she doesn't rely on her own strength
i used to think that i can never be like her,
as though she is some superwoman.
but how wrong. cause God is the Superman
He is our superhero who will save us in times of need
who already saved us. and will continuously show us His salvation
anw thank God for min for keeping me awake today :)
i realised or rather reminded when God speaks a RHEMA to you
He will repeat the RHEMA and confirm it
like when God told me about giving me a new heart
He continued to speak to me about giving me a new heart
in the past few days, through different people
and even when God gives us a RHEMA, or maybe to us it seems like a LOGOS at that time
you never know how to it will bless people when you share it.
we are all called to edify and strengthen one another
and when we do so, when we water the lives of others, God will shower over us blessings and He will be the one who waters us :)
haha was reminded of my birthday..
honestly, i gave up having birthday wishes
cause it never happened for me
i told mel, i don't really even want to celebrate
birthdays were important to me before
but no longer..
if u ask me to have a birthday party now after so many years.
i would say no thanks.
unless u're gonna pay everything and do everything for me
LOL okay i'm financially tight now.
so i can't splurge on a party
but i'm not lazy okay.. i'll do for you if u want me to :)
just that i wun do it for myself..
